It just wasn’t for me. I think the world was a little too complex for me to get into the storyline. Also, I heard the phrase, “Milky Mommy Boobs,” one too many times for my liking. The female characters were painfully written by a male. The descriptions of their bodies and sexual interactions were just… porny? I just wasn’t really a fan. I’m usually all for spooky books and smutty books so I thought this would be up my alley. I only listened to 35%.
